Originally referred to as the New York and Brooklyn Bridge, it was dubbed the Brooklyn Bridge in an 1867 letter to the editor of the Brooklyn Daily Eagle,[3] and formally so named by the city government in 1915. Since its opening, it has become an iconic part of the New York skyline. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1964

Was with NY Helicopter, and it was a bad flight. 226 $, supposed to be 20 mins, actually close to 15 minutes. The attendant on ground said that i can open the window, while flying the pilot was not in the same mind as he fellow. We were 6 so quickly there was mist on the windows, no u turn around statue of liberty, so better to be seat on the right side ...
